Just using a cheap example. There's certainly far better CRM platforms out there! But yeah, unfortunately as with anything CRMs are only as effective as the people managing them.

They have all the data. It was on Excel spreadsheets from speaking with Tynan in the past. I think the issue is they either haven't bothered uploading relevant contact information to their CRM, or certainly not all of it, or they're not using it properly. Most CRMs are capped with regards to...

You wouldn't even need to programme any data. Platforms such as Mailchimp pretty much takes care of all that for you now.

No it wouldn't, what a ridiculous statement. With wages currently being at or exceeding turnover, further revenue is needed in order to plug the gap. A gap that isn't likely to be filled by Doug King year on year. Maximising revenue to ensure the club is run more sustainably is vital for its...

Twitter aside, their marketing in general is also awful and outdated. There's so much they could do which wouldn't really cost a great deal that they just don't bother with/don't do.

It's a false economy. Most people who attend fixtures consistently will usually pay full price regardless. At most cheaper tickets would add a couple/few thousand to the gates. And the novelty would wear off pretty quick. Slashing ticket prices for all would result in the club losing money...

At best he's nothing more than a L2 commercial manager. The commercial strategy at the club has been embarrassing and utterly shambolic and he's done nothing of note to improve it during his tenure here. It's frankly incredible it's only until recently fans were taking notice of this.

It's fundamental that if we're to move forward as a club that he has to go. Relative to his other Championship counterparts he's woefully out of his depth.

    Transfer Rumour Outgoings?

Fans probably need to be pragmatic with regards to how much will realistically be readily available to Robins for reinvestment in this window following Gyokeres' sale - presuming he'll go. There's still the matter of repaying the EFL loan (presuming it hasn't been repaid already), covering...

    Transfer Rumour Josh Wilson-Esbrand

He'll likely be on reasonable wages given he has a promotion and a new contract under his belt since arriving, and ultimately his fitness or performances don't justify him being retained beyond the summer. Certainly sad to see how much injuries have caused him to regress though.

    Transfer Rumour Outgoings?

Because it isn't mutually exclusive. A player's ability to get up the pitch effectively by definition has nothing to do with their end product. He's contributed to a number of goals over the years by getting the ball up the pitch quickly and bringing others into play who then go on to assist...

It's something that really needs to be outlined from the off. The club hasn't had an actual strategy going forwards other than seeing through the season really since SISU took over. And that was hardly a strategy. Irrespective of the external investment side of things we desperately need to...

    Transfer Rumour Outgoings?

Not really. There are plenty of examples of players that are effective at getting forward but fundamentally lack end product. I wouldn't say the two are mutually exclusive really, they're entirely separate traits. Todd Kane for instance has reasonable end product (when he wants to) but...

    Transfer Rumour Outgoings?

I'd disagree with that. When fit I'd say he's pretty good at catching the opposition on the break / beating his man and getting up the pitch. Pushing his fitness, or lack thereof, aside the biggest flaw in his game is his end product. His crosses are appalling. Zero worth getting into good...

Fundamentally his comments will be scrutinised though. No owner or stakeholder is immune from that due to the position they're in and ultimately they have to be held accountable for what they say and what they do. Some of his comments have posed more questions than they provide answers as well...

Unfortunately there's no proof that any of that is true. I think fans are right to air on the side of caution with regards to King's comments. There's nothing really to suggest that it simply won't be BAU at the club and we'll simply continue to tread water year on year, just under a new face...

Lack of aggression in defence ?

Players are far, far more likely to be carded than it actually making any significant difference on decisions. It's such a ridiculous concept which is decades old.

    Doug King Takeover

Yeah but that's always going to be the case. Regardless of the agreement made loaning clubs are always at the behest of the parent club. That'll only heighten with clubs the size of Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal etc. Such an example also proves my point that their ultimate goal isn't for loaning...

    Doug King Takeover

Unless it's an extremely highly rated talent, clubs such as Man City and Arsenal would have difficulty demanding significant loan splits anyway. It would be a complete false economy as they'd essentially be pricing themselves out of getting their youth products vital experience at a decent level.

    Transfer Rumour Outgoings?

He won't go for the reason outlined above. Fundamentally we're too thin in that position with Godden, Tavares and Walker being out and any wages saved won't be enough to put towards a replacement.
