I actually thought Norton-Cuffy did alright!
No, but then again I said this about Gyokeres in 2021Would anyone lose a wink of sleep if BNC was recalled tomorrow?
Why are you laughing you idiot
Much too early to say the season is over - I just hope the players aren’t that defeatist with nine games to go.
Over 90 minutes you always get what you deserve. Our squad is tiny and the fixture pile up and injury crisis in midfield was never going to be sustainable. They were so poor didn’t really deserve their goal
Fresh legs up top, can fully agree with the sheaf sub, worked completely, but why not sub walker on, has he shagged MR's wife or somethingThought Wigan looked better than bottom of the league, and their manager made attacking substitutions, they were a bit of a handful. The real issue, as Robins said earlier in the week, is that we don’t score enough goals. The possession we had for the first 30 minutes of the second half should have enabled us to score again and put the game beyond them. It did cry out for fresh legs up top.
Surely if he has, the best place to keep an eye on him is on the pitch, not behind him on the bench where he could sneak off for a quickie at any given moment.Fresh legs up top, can fully agree with the sheaf sub, worked completely, but why not sub walker on, has he shagged MR's wife or something

Agreed - but any team that declares the season over while four points out with nine games to go is never going to get promoted out of this division, no matter what the manager does. If that’s the mindset then why should any of us bother? We're not going to do that if we can't beat dross like Wigan, you can't just drop off like we did and the manager has got to recognise it much quicker. He as per a few occasions just watched it happen. We needed some impetus but just dropped back further and further.
Exactly this. Poor first half. And still not clinical enough.Over 90 minutes you always get what you deserve. Our squad is tiny and the fixture pile up and injury crisis in midfield was never going to be sustainable.
I dont think our tactics cost us in the first half. Wigan came out of traps and unsettled us so much we never got chance to implement our tactics. We still had enough chances to win it.
Poor really. Poor tactics first half cost us.
If we started with the team most of recommended ie 2nd half. Then we would have won that.
Thought macfadzen was shite today.
Tactics meaning our formation/personell. was fucked. No midfield. ObviousI dont think our tactics cost us in the first half. Wigan came out of traps and unsettled us so much we never got chance to implement our tactics.
Sometimes it takes a 15 minute break in play to flip the tide - tactics, subs or not. On the pitch you might know what is wrong but with that amount of momentum leaks keep springing up all over the pitch. Whatever decision you make on the pitch it is wrong.
That is just how it is sometimes. But we did enough second half to have won it.
To get promoted you need that killer instinct even when you are holding a shit hand of cards. We didnt have that instinct.
Why are you obsessed with him?Why are you laughing you idiot
Would also be nice if we could persist with the likes of Eccles and Burroughs and maybe give Howley another go for the rest of the campaign, because they could well be regulars next season. Can we stop this 'we're only 4 points off' bollocks
We will be 7 off by tomorrow
Has any team overcame a 7 point gap to the play offs with 9 games to go and an inferior GD?
Its game over lads, lets just focus on being able to relax these last few games and plan for next season

Sheaf was excellent thoughOver 90 minutes you always get what you deserve. Our squad is tiny and the fixture pile up and injury crisis in midfield was never going to be sustainable.
Could have marked the guy who crosses for the goal a bit betterCallers on CWR always seem to write off Bidwell.
Can't understand why, think he's been one of the best players this season
Agreed but the problems are further up the pitch.Sheaf was excellent though
BNC was a change, and his failure to put in decent crosses suggests we were attackingIt just pisses you off… why sit back, why not make changes, why can’t Norton Cuff cross a feckin ball!!!
Definitely. If Robins & co believe they are serious long term prospects, this would really help them next year.Would also be nice if we could persist with the likes of Eccles and Burroughs and maybe give Howley another go for the rest of the campaign, because they could well be regulars next season.
It's what happens when all 3 of your AM's are out injured.Agreed but the problems are further up the pitch.
