Getting back to ppe. The conservatives still are not apologising for the lack of ppe.

Parliament needs to be recalled virtually so the government can be held to account as the press aren't doing it at the daily briefings. It's telling that the best and most insightful question the other day was asked by someone from the ladbible

I saw on the news that aprons are now becoming chronically short in availability.

Then how about this?

How do you think I’m going to respond? I’m intrigued - well I’m not but let’s pretend I am

I've got an inkling how you're going to respond but it'll be interesting to see if I'm right....

I don't agree
The Tories are still doing it.
No.mistake, for all the genteel tone, Hancock PPE comments were a sniidey little attack on NHS staff. Call him out on it, put him under pressure and see what happens.
The Tories can afford to act like twats. The last GE made sure of this. And what can Starmer do until they can see each other face to face?

Starmer needs to show them for what they are. I fully agree. But using only the media which is mainly on the side of the Tories?

As with regards to the labour report mentioned earlier. The centrist aren't coming across very well at all.

There's 2 head office staffers that come across really badly

I think we can expect to be seeing a lot more of this sort of thing from Labour going forward

Modern Israel is a beacon of ‘Freedom’ ‘Equality’ and ‘Democracy’

Apologies if already posted.

We have left in name only. We are still part of just about everything in the EU we just have no say in anything (taking back control).

It became law on the 31st January 2020 and by the end of this this year it's, Deal or No Deal.

I don't think the crisis would be worse under Labour, but I don't see how it would have been any better. If this was predictable who can honestly say what steps they would have taken months ago at the last election. Yes, they might have pledged a shit load more dosh into the NHS ... but would it have paid for Captain Hindsight stockpiling for the current crisis, or just more staff and better wages?

Whoever was in charge it it still wouldn't have stopped what happened in China and I doubt very much Labour would have done much different to stop it making its way over here. Would they have locked down the airports and the sea ports?

As for herd immunity, they would probabaly have listened to the same experts getting it wrong. Would Jezza go against them?

Think we need to all stop the policitial what if's and concentrate on a way forward.
I highly doubt Labour would have pursued the herd immunity strategy which lost days. Maybe you shouldlook up some articles into the impact of even just one less day of social distancing. The Tories let this into the community and then let it spread.
The panel of experts oddly gave great weight to the nudge unit, so it wasn't necessarily epidemiologists giving all of this advice, it was a balance of expert opinion arranged to support herd immunity.

HANDS UP !! :emoji_rolling_eyes: I posted this clip believing it to be a recent clip, just checked and it’s from
2017 I do apologise ‘that’ll teach me to check.
But I do still think we will see more of this from Labour.

How do you think I'm going to respond?

By asking how I think you're going to respond....and thus sidestepping you saying that ICU staff didn't need face masks.

But should you actually try and answer the question as to why they don't need facemasks I've got excuse/reason No.1 in mind. And no I'm not revealing any clues.

Even the most ardent Brexiteer must see there are more pressing priorities and a delay has to happen... Surely?
You would like to think so. But you can never be sure. 'Let's get Brexit done' was the pledge. No extensions. How single minded is Boris?
