True. When assessing their effectiveness it doesn't really matter if the data is European or not.
Trump thinks they work doesn’t he?

Ones doing better than us and most started doing it in March or early April. Aside from helping control the number of cases and therefore deaths it’s also meant that they’ve been able to relax lockdown measures sooner.Where has it actually been mandatory in all areas in Europe?
If he does then why is he saying that he won’t.Trump thinks they work doesn’t he?
Aren't they bras?
Here’s the list
Which countries have made wearing face masks compulsory?
The Italy response shows the concerns especially the false sense of security and potential resource impacts

This is the problem Clint. Everybody needs to be singing from the same hymn sheet.
I tend not to listen to politicos saying the opposite of each other, but I would expect people like the WHO to be independent and give the correct advice. Their advice isn't clear cut to me.
Not actually true, face masks are only compulsory on public transport, certain shops and other places you can't social distance. That's why IMO it should be enforced. Germany have bought in punishments for not wearing face masks (apparently up to €10,000) if you are caught without a mask on in public.
Our government need to find a backbone and implement similar laws / punishments with regards to wearing face masks otherwise people simply won't wear them consistently enough.
They'll flount the rules as they are doing now with quarantine.

Brilliant to have boris back and great news that we’ve past the peak and will have the exit strategy known by next week!
Not all public places as you were implying so no you were wrong. So still in public then?
Not all public places as you were implying so no you were wrong.
You will not be fined 10k for not wearing a mask on public.

What an idiot. How much notice was there schools were closing, couple of days? Is he seriously suggesting that in that time they should have been able to transfer everything online?
You said you could be funded 10k for going g out in public without a mask. You can go out in public without a mask but if you wish to do certain things you have to put a mask on.Oh of course because public transport and publicly accessible shops don't technically count as going out in public. Thanks for clearing that up.

I agree on the economy bit though some experts think it will be a piece of piss and we can lockdown for 6 years if we have to
Amazing how following the changing science which the government has done all along seems in vogue today
Seems the government approach of following the changing science is gaining support
Shut up you stupid twat, complete embarrassment with comments irrelevant to the pointYes, as soon as they work out how to combine bleach & rat poison you'll see it in Target right next to the anti COVID automatic weapons.
If he does then why is he saying that he won’t.
So you now have to pick on a typo because you were caught out lying.Funded 10k for going out in public without a mask? That's country I need to get to asap.

Remember when grenners tried to say an oxbridge virologist had said face masks didn't work so they NHS didn't need them? Remember when it turned out said doctors was referring to his opinion on the public wearing them? But at no point did the science say herd mentality was a good idea - that was an ideological idea that was tried to be pushed on them to agree to. We lost a lot of time for that.
Neither have they ever said PPE was useless. Again that was political spin because we'd not stockpiled enough even though we'd been told to years before. So again a political failing that they've tried to push onto health professionals.
No it was a typo, can you please show me a link that shows that you can get fined 10k for not wearing a mask in public? Can you send me a link to how I can get funding for not wearing a face mask?
Wait....you weren't lYiNg were you?
They're still pushing that Jesus analogy...Johnson returns and first thing he announces is we're past the peak.....
Who'd av thunk it?
It’s a really good point. Climate change kills an estimated 150K+ every year (that’s just the death toll for humans not all species) and rising yet economies around the world or to be more precise the driving force behind them seem reluctant to make the changes needed to combat this death toll. We’re stuck in a rut economically speaking, it’s all about the now and not tomorrow. What this has shown is that the way we structure economics it cannot adapt to change. This makes it a very vulnerable system and we need to take a massive look at this. The first step is to get rid of the utter obsession with economic growth.

Don't claim that being fined for certain actions is the same as being fined for not wearing a mask in public.
I said you were lying so prove me wrong.

Brian Cox was spot on. Anyone talking about following “the science” cleary hasn’t a clue what science is.
Even without this shit storm there’s little tangible proof that austerity even worked and actually capital investment through borrowing would have stimulated the economy and and had a more positive effect in cutting the debt.I find it very unfortunate that they argued for austerity on the basis of 'we can't burden the next generation with debt' when the failure to fund anything properly for 10 years is coming home to roost
