So anyone who has ever said that someone looks like someone else is racist? Or does it just count for those who are not white British 🤔

If it was any race in general then yes.

My guess would be that the person you are talking about is aligned to something you like to have a go at/point scoring. Or are we now not allowed to say two people look similar 🧐

He’d have to be the world’s worst player of guess who to mix them up. All he has to ask himself is does he have a beard or does he wear glasses. If the answer is no to either of them questions it’s Sajid Javid.

He does have a point though , why are you not aloud to say somebody looks like somebody else , even if they don't?

People say I look like a young Brad Pitt

If I thought two people looked alike I would not say 'they all look the same to me'.

Would you?

Ah right , source?
Every newspaper including the Mail, for balance. Apparently he was on stage at the time addressing 50 people at an event, he mixed them up, someone pointed out the error to which he replied in front of 50 people (according to the Mail) “They all look the same to me”.

Fucking hell..wow.....the guy is either a massive racist, or it was a very very ill judged attempt at off-the-cuff humour in a Jerry Sadowitz type stylee......but I'll have a tenner on option A : Massive racist.

Islamaphobia in the Tory party is nothing new or even an argument worth having is it?

They need to own it and sort it out.

Labour and anti-semitism are on a similar journey. Albeit hopefully it's more days without incident for Labour.

It’s ok as it’s not hidden

Did he say they all look the same or have you made that up?

You're all missing the crux of the matter.

Who cares if he's a massive racist and jokes of putting bombs in offices.

The fact is Jack Straw shook Robert Mugabes hand almost 20 years ago and that's the real issue of the day.

Few people in here showing their biases. Whether he said it isn’t up for debate, it’s been reported everywhere that he did. So taking that fact you can either defend him saying it or not.

Everyone gets people mixed up. But these are prominent members of his party who are regularly in the media. They've got quite obvious differences. Do you think he's say the same about Raab and Hancock for example?

Shake someone's hand and all is OK.

If a comment about someone who is black is racist then it is racist whatever the background of the comment. No excuses should be used. But if you try to understand one comment you should try to understand all comments and not say guilty/not guilty because of political stance/point scoring.

You literally just steamrolled in here defending a racist remark without bothering to check if he said it or not and accused me of making it up.

Agree. If one is guilty both are guilty. If one is innocent they are both innocent. Shaking a hand doesn't take away from the comment made.
