So many Verstappen comparisons that it does seem like a Red bull/Marko production line. Was arrogant, aggressive, petulant when things went wrong, difficult teammate.
If the FIA or F1 had any sense about them they'd get him straight in to direct the sport in the right way.
Should make him race director or whatever they call it. I can't believe they don't use ex drivers unless they previously have and it didn't work.
They use them for the stewards and it's a bit erratic.
I thought that might be a problem. They have used them in motogp & I think they still do and can't remember there being lots of problems although Freddie Spencer did upset a few with his very strict rulings. I'm not sure how someone who hasn't raced at a high standard can make judgements on racing incidents.
Not quite sure what drugs they're all taking, but not performance enhacing ones...!
Surely anyone would choose alonso over ocon though? Maybe if it is that they forced him out it’s because they feel they can get more good years out of ocon
Saw Vettel at Silverstone on the Saturday last year sorting out the recycling rubbish for his team. That's how much he's changed. Hated him in the past but feel the same about him as you do now.
It's been an odd spell for him. Did well at Red Bull (threatened to eclipse Vettell, could hold his own against Verstappen half the time, if only he could do it consistently...), did alright at Renault after a slow start... did get that win for McLaren! But has been poor really.
He says he'sstaying in F1. I don't have any reason to doubt him as of yet tbh.
