ExactlyLampard has been excellent imo.
I didn't want MR to go, but I can't really fault what FL has done with the "deck" he inherited.
He's had to change the formation due to injuries to some of our best players, and he's changed the defence that was concerning 2 goals every game.
So far he's been a big plus, hopefully that will continue because to be honest he's kept our season alive.
Removing you from the told you so hitlist lolEarly doors I said Lampard hadn’t moved the needle with the players. It’s clear now that he and his coaching team just needed some time. Really seeing some vast improvements in individuals and as a team.
The f’kin tastiest humble pie I’ve ever eaten
Don't know what Frank's diet has to do with things.Exactly
But losing weight sheaf and emc isn't a test to some
Sorting out defence frailties wasn't a test apparently
But Leeds...Leeds is the test!
Unless we win.
Blackburn and the Baggies for me.Boro will fade
Regardless of what happens on the pitch going forward, Lampard has already done one very important thing.
We all know the anger that existed around Robins' sacking. That had the potential to completely split the fanbase, and also cause a massive rift between the fans, club, and players. Sacking a manager after nearly 8 years in charge has consequences.
Lampard has, IMO, brilliantly took the sting out of that sacking. So whatever happens in the future, whoever takes over from Lampard (whenever that may be), will not have the burden of constantly being compared to Mark Robins
Bizarrely Lampard has gone under the radar the turn around he’s managed from this squad.
You know, I like it and this momentum we have now is giving me vibes that we’re on the cusp of something special.
2 weeks ago people on here were questioning how many season tickets we would sell next season, and would we even stay up - That is the turnaround
Would you rather be arguing over whether we'd be in the relegation zone if MR had stayed? Are we in to the ‘Robins would have turned it round by now anyway’ phase yet?

My little boy's reading all about Frank, Robins never wrote any kids stories that I'm aware of
Wrote a fairytale
Are his books any good?My little boy's reading all about Frank, Robins never wrote any kids stories that I'm aware of
If only we'd got him in sooner.
I mean there is no way to say that would be the case... But he had done a brilliant job so far!All hindsight but if Lampard was here at the start of the season we would be up with Sunderland. He’s been a very smart appointment by Doug. He’s not even had a full squad since he joined.
Some posters on here would have to tick multiple boxes
It was just a bunch of grown men acting like crybabies. In sure they regret it nowSurely Frank is turning even the most die hard of Robins fans now. We are lucky to have him at this stage of the project. So many improvements coming to fruition

But @shmmeee says he doesn't care about cov and we need to fire him asap rather than waste time hoping it will work outMay well be cause he’s a smart and articulate bloke and he knows how to bluff people - who knows
But I could listen to Frank talk about football for hours, I think his analysis of the game is second to none, you could see that when he was a pundit at the Euros though to be fair
He’s finally unearthing the huge potential in the team.
Now we’ve had a good run, the expectation will now be to make the playoffs, especially now we don’t have to worry about the FA Cup as we did last season.
