What other way was there going to be? You went as far as to say that they hide among civilians so what else was Israel meant to do. Well they're doing it and now it's going too far-but the truth is they have viewed civilian life as expendable there from the start.

So we've established that I never wanted thousands of civilians to die , stating civilians will die in conflict doesn't mean I want them to die ... what's happening now is pretty bad stuff

Going by my own, somewhat limited, evidence I’d say that’s a pretty unfair statement. I didn’t attend, but I did pass through the protest en route to going somewhere else. Chants and placards about ceasefires everywhere. Family members and friends who attended all said the same.

Braverman has described them as “hate marches” attended by tens of thousands of people, which is completely absurd.

Police don’t offer suffer fools gladly on demos I’ve been on for there to be so few arrests suggests that they’ve been managed well
Course you’ll get the gammons saying the police are pussies and they don’t know what they’re doing or the chief constable doesn’t know the law and the junior ministers do but generally get hundreds of thousands of people together and you’ll have arrests and there’s not been many

It feels like the world is teetering on the edge of a global war. Could the Israeli conflict be the catalyst for a wider escalation?

Given the massing of military hardware in and around the Med, it wouldn't take much for a full scale attack in the area.
