£20,000 a game then?
No why? The costs still have to be met its just now being funded by the Coventry taxpayer - I'm sure every citizen of Coventry is delighted at picking up the tab,
Did I say I was angry with Northampton?
Sisu believe building a new stadium is best for CCFC and I agree with the concept that the Club should own it's own stadium.
If the kids are happy then I'd understand why, but some parents are bound to be unhappy and rightly so.
Unless you've got something to back that statement up then we'll just assume your talking bullshit again shall we?
Sorry, but this is just a joke.
Fine to let a team play at the Ricoh, but if someone is getting to play on it for next to nothing then surely a local Coventry team such as Coventry United or Sphinx would be the way to go. Why some youth team from a completely different county?
It's daft at best and at worst, very embarrassing.
Doesn't this just state the obvious that the Ricoh is available for next to nothing and if that's the case, Coventry City should be playing there.

Who is paying for floodlights, pitch maintenance, heating, initial preparation to get it ready, health and safety checks, hot water, cleaning the changing rooms? The tooth fairy?
I didn't say you were, but there is criticism for the ricoh from you, for stealing this academy, if there is indeed an issue with playing at the ricoh for this academy the problem is with footballcv, not the ricoh. It's also the case that this is a residential academy and so there is obviously going to be no issues with the kids getting to games, they will be bussed there from the accommodation.
I'm positive that sisu do not beilive building a new stadium is best for ccfc but thats completely irrelevent to chosing to play in northampton, we all agree the club should own their own stadium, everyone of us, the smart way to do that was to buy acl.
It's a residential academy, I would expect the parents to be excited for their kids to play at an amazing stadium but otherwise not really care at all.

I can understand the appeal from the academy, but what happens if CCFC move back to the Ricoh, think CCFC will be happy with another team sticking around as well?
As we agreed earlier in the week, but as I said before do you think if CCFC do that they're going to want to keep a Club that pays next to no money to be there and use the facilities?
Tough shit on Ccfc to be honest.
If they wanted exclusivity on the Ricoh they shouldn't have left.

They should have never built the fucking thing either.
While we are at it, ACL shouldn't have charged an extortionate rent to CCFC.
And Ccfc shouldn't have signed the rental agreement should they?
Acl are a business, and I thought you were concerned about the negative impact of Ccfc leaving on the local economy. Now acl has done something to go towards helping the local economy and your still not happy.
Make up your mind.

How can losing money by making the ground available to an organisation with virtually zero fans be helping the economy?
Keep digging.

I am sure all the locals pubs will be profitting from all the bottles of Panda Pops that they'd sell.. :claping hands:

Acl are part of the local economy and they will be making money out of this.
Are you really so deluded to think acl would be losing money on this?
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Your so dumb its unbelievable!
CCFC never did build the thing, there's the problem.
But if they had, they'd had have to have found a lot more than £1.2m a year to finance it.
(Edit: There's a lot of "have's" and "hads" in that last sentence, but I think you get the idea)

Have you any idea of how to run a business? If you were involved with ACL, would you jut sit around waiting for Sisu to sort themselves out which could take years or even worse Sisu build a new stadium, would you turn away someone who wanted to rent part of your business? doesn't make good business sense to take your attitude does it. One final thing, what a stupid remark you came out with "is that the best you can do ACL". What did you expect them to do? announce that they have a PL league team moving there. This is a start and shows that ACL are in fact doing what Sisu claim they are doing. How do you know what the financial agreement is for this new team, if they are indeed wealthy then does it not make sense?
Why is it laughable? I've seen nothing that says ACL are taking a loss on this so we can sumarise this as ACL taking on a new customer from whom they will make a profit. Not sure what business school you went to but that's generally not regarded as laughable and actually is the aim of most businesses.
Lets get something crystal clear, I wouldn't want to be involved with ACL, Sisu, CCC or anyone else in this sorry mess.
Secondly whereas it might benefit these kids and everything is great and I respect them for making the most out of a bad situation, however do you think this Academy is going to really bring in the cash for ACL? Sorry I don't see it..
