Unless of course THIS email talking about bogus emails is fake.

If he had made a fake social media in advance, he would really be a genius prankster.

Look i said a few weeks back he will land himself in serious trouble , in that post Dale you have not listened. You could well now find yourself at the wrong side of the law, people like HMRC then start digging and open up all sorts of worms ref your financial position, I know someone who has gone to prison no ifs or buts when it comes to the tax man. So I strongly advise you now and immediately remove yourself . You are already committing fraud by using other companies letters. If you want to go down carry on by all means, if you want to come out of this with any credibility and not put more shame on yourself or your innocent family STOP!
Fuck him.

It's a shame it's not all going through, the communication alone would be outstanding.

Aaaaannnnddd....he's deleted the whole Facebook post and associated comments from last night claiming he'd submitted his offer to the club.

Now all we need to do is sit tight and wait for the next evening he goes and gets tanked, and it'll all be back on again.

What a bloody wally.

Hoffman has now said he isnt in his consortium now.

Tail between legs that he was blagged.

Telegraph need to just be straight and say Evans is a fraud.

peaking exclusively to the Telegraph, Mr Hoffman said: “In the autumn, I had brief discussions with Dale Evans and met him once after people that knew him vouched for him.

“There was evidence of funds.

“It was clear quite quickly that the promises were not going to be followed through.

“So I told him we were ending our dialogue several weeks ago.

“It’s a great shame. These things are distracting from the success on Saturday and from the professional way in which we have gone about our business as a consortium.”

In October, Mr Hoffman had confirmed that Mr Evans had joined his Coventry City takeover consortium and insisted he was “serious”.

Surely his family will be seeing all this and need to reel him in?
It don't matter now, he's falsified emails from solicitors, pretty sure that's fraudulent, his prank against an already disheartened fanbase, is well and truly going backfire on him.

Dale knew weeks ago that Gary had sacked him off, yet he was telling people the other day him and Gary want a property builder for a place in Dubai that they were going halves on!
Wish Hoffman had made it public and saved 2 weeks of utter bollocks & false hope given to the more credulous type.

"The Football Club and its owners have been made aware of screenshots of emails confirming the sale of Coventry City Football Club to a Mr Dale Evans.

There have been no negotiations with Dale Evans, and given the lack of formal offer and proof of funds, no sale has been agreed.

Whilst we cannot comment on the authenticity of the Clapham & Collinge Solicitors’ email, we can emphatically confirm that the email showing as from a ‘Laura’ is utter fabrication. No such email was sent from SISU Capital.

Both the Football Club and SISU Capital are currently taking legal advice given the false representation by Mr Dale Evans."

So that's it then. Sorry for starting this up again last night but when I saw his Facebook status I thought it'd be worthwhile. At least this is definitively put to bed now.

I do think that CWR need to issue an explanation for how they let this individual onto their programme and bigged him up as someone to take seriously. Everything else flowed from that. They ought to apologise for their unprofessional failure of due diligence.

Absolutely, bloody annoying that he fell for that story. Joe Dhinsa MkII.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was mainly being polite, but it doesn't bode over-well for his judgement!

Anyway, thank the Lord he's distanced himself!

Is it kind of twisted that I actually want SISU to take someone to court for once?

This thing has gone full circle!

In the world we live in, I find it astounding so many people can be as naive as has been shown here. It was pretty obvious very early on that something was not right with this. As for Dale, I have very little sympathy for any issues he may have. I don't know about someone needing to get him off social media, I think someone needs to 'make it look like an accident'.

*That's a joke. He has really pissed me off though.

I felt sorry for him and his family getting abuse, now I wonder whether any of that even happened.

Sisu may actually win this case.
