On what basis in international law do you think the bombings are legal given that international law requires either a mandate from the UN or the country carrying out the bombing to be acting in self defence?

What evidence is there that the targets were genuine? All I can see is May saying that not even MPs will be shown the alleged evidence. On the opposite side it was only a couple of weeks ago the OPCW declared there was no chemical weapons production or storage at the site.

Why now? Since 21 August 2013, the date of the worst chemical weapon attack in Syria to date, there have been over 85 chemical weapons attacks in Syria. Many of which were worse than the Douma attack. Incidentally the recent Douma attack was at least the sixth time this year the area has been targeted with chemical weapons.

If the issue is chemical weapons use then why haven't we done anything about the attacks in Darfur by the Sudanese government?

It's OK Google are getting in on the act now regardless of how that sits with their employees .
But the Robots are coming and nobody will to be there to pull the levers or operate the controls, small mercies.

I guess If you could reduce the demand it becomes uneconomic to produce or reduce the competition and they become too uneconomic to buy.
Another way may be to employ that capitol on altruistic ventures rather than destructive, guess it all comes down to how you prop up the ailing dollar .

Has anyone read the articles about a Skirmish beteeen the "Wagner Mercenaries ", Russians, up in the North East of Syria near the SDF(KPP)positions.Deir al Zour.

This was referred to by Mike Pompeo the other day when he remarked we've already defeated the Russians via sanctions, expulsions and that we've killed 200 of them.
The Russians claim it was a malitia who hadn't advised of their movemrnts, which they would normally relay to the Americans via their deconfliction protocol.
This was a story a Russian journalist called Bodin was working on, he mysteriously fell from his Fifth floor appartment balcony over the weekend.
There have been sources circulating in arab media,then Iranian that there are British Special services (11) who have been captured, this finally came up in British media late last week in the Mail which resulted in a denial .
Something else is going on.

Well I certainly didn't vote to stay in it but I must have missed the part where EU members were forced to sell arms to Saudi. In fact I seem to recall the EU pushing for an arms embargo but it being opposed by the UK.

France is the third biggest arms seller globally and Saudi abd the UAE are it’s biggest customers.

Absolutely concur ,Compensation didn't get mentioned, might have been helpful to have brought that up.
Might also have been helpful to have collated the numbers who have been repatriated ,which the Home Office keep obfuscating.

I would guess that May is right about the dates. It became her job afterwards. And with the way politicians are I would also guess that she was waiting for something like this.

Clearly the destruction of Boarding cards hasn't helped, but as that appears prior to her stint as HS and her legislation.
In isolation that had no effect .
If only the research had been as vigorous at the time as it was apparently overnight to get out of jail,quite telling for me.
