Sun journalist again - I didn’t and not did the government
It’s measuring ICU beds against the population which is odd isn’t it
We are forecast to have the worst death toll in Europe.
Do you still think the government's response was acceptable?

Well one person says that. My point about Ireland is it’s a very different country to England. It’s more similar to Sweden and is running at the same death rate per population despite a very different approach
Come on. Praising the first woman in parliament who happened to be an antisemite at a time where most people were anti semites isn’t quite the same as sharing a platform with them or otherwise hanging about. Or sharing anti Jew conspiracy stuff.
There absolutely has been people making the most of tiny stuff, but there’s also been a problem with some one the far left and Corbyn himself.
Many thought Corbyn was a good leader.....And many still think the same way.Not to the same scale though....
and your answer to the second point?
Many thought Corbyn was a good leader.....And many still think the same way.
Look at this thread. It is very 1 sided. How many other than G sing the praises of the Tories?
The biggest problem Labour has is too many don't want change. But if change doesn't happen the Tories will stay in power.
I just hope Starmer is up to the job. Because it won't be an easy one.

I’m not sure how this isn’t sinking in so I’ll say it just one more time. I’m not Labour or ‘left’, I have slated both sides on this very thread. I believe the exact words were “you’re all as fucking bad as each other”.
but “the right” are quite some way ahead in the body count stakes, so that’s where the questions need to be focussed.
Other than Germany we have handled as well as any other major western industrial country.
Cheers dude. Suppose I'll just have to suck it up. Just feel like I could be doing something useful like delivering food for the supermarkets or something like that.
Helpful?
(Sorry, can't keep up!)
Sir Keir Starmer did more on anti-Semitism in 'four days' than Jeremy Corbyn, claim Jewish leaders
So when did you slate Labour? I can give you an endless list of where you have slated the Tories. All you have to do is look at just about every post you have made on the subject.
And strangely enough I haven't slated Labour once. I have just mentioned what needs to change to have a chance of getting into power. But you don't want change. You want it to stay just as it is.
Other than Germany we have handled as well as any other major western industrial country.
So why do you constantly try to disagree with me? Or you just want change of what got Labour into power last time and stay on the very left? Because that is what it sounds like.Of course people want change - the last thing they want is for the Labour Party to go back to being an iteration of the Tories. I hope Starmer will deliver and he will get my support until it’s evident he won’t do what he pledged.

I do think Corbyn got a very tough, and unfair deal from many, especially on a personal level.Corbyn was tbe Andy Thorn of politics. He’d have been sacked from any normal business years ago
As you know, that’s not what he asked you- but in fairness you are something of a lone voice and you took a hell of a beating yesterday, so ok.
So why do you constantly try to disagree with me? Or you just want change of what got Labour into power last time and stay on the very left? Because that is what it sounds like.
Had enough. Going to bed for an hour or so.
You just said you keep skating Labour as well as the Tories. But you haven't.Who’s in charge right now? What do Labour have to do with it?
I kind of give up on you at this point, you don’t make sense.
But you never agree with me even when you agree with what I say...... You always word it in a different way.I very rarely disagree with you if you actually look. Challenge, tweak, adapt, suggest but rarely disagree.
You just said you keep skating Labour as well as the Tories. But you haven't.
Oddly enough you shouldn't either. But to make a comment like that........

Unfortunately it's probably fair to say he's an excellent, hard working constituency MP, but not a natural leader.
I think you are doing the popular/gutter press a disservice there to be honest. It’s no coincidenceJust add it to the list
Windrush
Grenfell
Universal Credit
COVID19
but they know how to win elections so that has to say something about the opposition as well, not sure it should be that difficult to evict people that inflict death & suffering on their own people from number 10
I was hardly on here yesterday and I’m happy to take a beating from a minority who will scream and whine once again I’m 5 years time and find more excuses why their brand of politics is as palatable to the majority as a plate of cold sick
I think you are doing the popular/gutter press a disservice there to be honest. It’s no coincidence
that Labours only election victories in the last 40 years ‘are also the only elections they had the
Backing of the Sun newspaper.
You’re not perfect mate :happy:But you never agree with me even when you agree with what I say...... You always word it in a different way.
Catastrophic record on foreign affairs... yeah I forgot he was way wrong with his Iraq war call...Corbyn was for many a lunatic fringe man of the 80’s who sided with very unpleasant people and has a catastrophic record regarding foreign affairs. He should have been sacked years ago
Whichever day, they all feel the same. They are unelectable which is a massive indictment when you look at what the Conservatives have presided over- I don’t know enough about Starmer to say either way whether he’s gonna make any difference.
