Starting...?I actually am a chartered accountant and this forum is starting to turn me into a gibbering wreck
Time and place for it though. At the risk of being told I’m talking sanctimonious twaddle again, it’s because under these circumstances we realise that the life we normally lead is fucked up and doesn’t need to be that way, and need to change the way we live.
Sounds like a good start to me.Helpful?
(Sorry, can't keep up!)
Sir Keir Starmer did more on anti-Semitism in 'four days' than Jeremy Corbyn, claim Jewish leaders
They have turned to whoever was winning each time to sell papers. They have never backed a loser and made them winners like some wish to make out.like I said before, The Sun has won every election since 1979
How's the weather in Cork ROS?
Lovely day here in Cov
It was a very rare beautiful day yesterday- was able to have a very restricted Easter egg hunt in the garden, went for a bike ride and the kids got the ‘slip and slide’ out- after a while they convinced me to have a go but sneakily chucked a load of fairy liquid on it when I wasn’t watching, so I ended up flying down it, almost took out a fence panel and ended up with 2 bloody knees and a sore elbow.. obviously everyone else though that was a great laugh and the video was sent to all & sundryToday though? Complete washout, it’s pouring down, about 10 degrees and a bit depressing really!
Soon as lockdown ends to some degree I want to come over, I can work from there anyway and I could do a bit more to help with parents’ shopping etc and would be great to leave the Irish permanently grey weather behind for a while...
Time and place for it though.
I just think if everyone starts making meals for their neighbour now then we aren't helping to control the spread of the virus. It's a well intentioned thing, but just not the right time for it.how do you mean?
Ignore me if you like, everyone calls me a ‘hippy’ anyway, F*ck knows what I’m doing on here rowing about stuff

Do you only get them if you pose for a photo that will end up on said persons feed?People in my local Facebook group now dishing out leftovers from their Sunday roast to any takers. Shit like that don't happen when its not a pandemic, why are people desperate to do that shit now?
Ha ha, the desire for Facebook likes is strong though. The person should have just text a friend or somethingOh yeah I agree with that, also it’s all getting a bit over the top. People should just be a bit more considerate in general, there’s no need to be going around with Tupperware boxes of half eaten stuffing to show you’re a ‘good person’

Possibly.Do you only get them if you pose for a photo that will end up on said persons feed?
At least you got one good day. We had thunder and lightening here last night but lovely today.
Gone above China in the recorded cases today, is there anyone out there who actually believes that to be true?
well look- I’m gonna be honest, I don’t really feel any joy in outing that particular piece of bullshit when the whole world is in a bloody mess- he’s got his views & told a porky but we’ve all done it, and that’s it. Time to move on, I was planning on no aggro today
I’m sure what grendel meant was that many people have been placed on furlough- that’s correct. But you can’t claim yet and the risk is that you may have lots of people furloughed then not be accepted, as we are seeing with the loans. And it will be thoroughly audited. Just a mistake and I’m actually boring myself even talking about it, so time for something else- where’s Coventrian when you need him
As you finally agreed he didn't have a say to what happened. He didn't have a say to the ending. But he says he will chase it all up.He's had a productive 4 days but a suppressed report from yesterday was nothing to do with him?
You can't have it both the ways.
Any way, I'll say no more but e mail transcripts from the report have started leaking on line.
He's got a job on his hands with this. Watch this space. Either way, music to Tory ears.
Great news. Not only are the deaths well down but hospital cases are also on their way down. This will give more scope to get on top of the situation.Italy numbers
Further decreases of those in intensive care
Deaths: 431
1677 recovered
1900 something new positive cases

What more can he do? What chance has Labour got when Labour voters are having a go at their new leader before he even does or says anything wrong?
Is it because he doesn't lean to the left enough?
The last time Labour had a left leaning government was in the 70's. What we need is more left than Bliar.
He has a point though, I might show this forum to my legal team, see if I can make a claim on any of you lot for mental distress
Moby Dick was still open as of about 5 days ago, ain't been past since. Are fish and chip shops still opening in cov?

I tell you what he can do. He can read that leaked report and every person that actively tried to undermine the leadership should be expelled from the party - no exception.
News that was released yesterday. You can't say he's had a productive 4 days and then say he wasn't responsible for something that happened yesterday.
I would also say that if any of this leads back to him he's dead in the water.
For now he should be going in hard on the government. Lots of easy targets. Get fucking stuck in
Corbyn tried the gentleman politician, civil discourse route. It didnt work. He needs to get the gloves off.
He has said he will be looking into it. Look at the earlier link that got ignored by everyone.I tell you what he can do. He can read that leaked report and every person that actively tried to undermine the leadership should be expelled from the party - no exception.
News that was released yesterday.
He has been in contact with them. Wants it all to be up and running on 21st April. Wants answers. Wants to know what the long term Tory plans are on getting us back to normal.
We need to give him a chance. If he fails then have a go. But he has a bloody hard job ahead. He has taken over a party that has just had one of their worse GE results ever. Party infighting. Constant racism rows. A lack of direction isn't the worse thing he has to change.
You don't like him do you.You sure he wasn't one?
