The BBC has just spent half an hour talking about how much the Queens faith meant to her. Not very nice describing her the worst in society on the day she’s being buried. I don't see that at all. I don't think anyone is trying to show they care less than anyone else. Lots of people on here who are not monarchists, but it's been pretty respectful as the whole. We're all privileged to an extent simply by being born into a free society, simply levels and some tradition.You don't need to be a socialist to oppose inherited power.

Meanwhile in the area where much of this expensive pagentry has been going on there are people sleeping on the streets.I dread to think just how much today alone, has cost the country. Ultimate £billions no doubt! No shops doing business, no transport, no cafes or restaurants and not even advertising on TV! (Blessing in disguise that!). No-one can buy and sell it seems. You can't even advertise your goods for sale on TV. And you're buggered if you need your car in an emergency. Most garages are shut.
Who's paying for all this? You and me I guess. Always is. Prices will increase to recoup todays losses. And will the Windsors give a shit? Will they hell! That family is worth billions themselves but I bet they wouldn't help anyone out!
